 Forecast Summary
Today (Wednesday): England and Wales will be very warm with any mist or low cloud clearing to leave sunny spells. Just the small chance of a sharp shower over higher ground in the west. Scotland will be cloudy with patchy drizzle in the north-west and warm sunny spells in the south and east. Northern Ireland will be mainly dry with sunny intervals.

Tonight (Wednesday night): A few sharp showers are possible across north Wales, north-west England and south-west Scotland during the evening but these will ease before midnight. Many areas will then have a dry and rather mild night with the longest of the clear spells across central and eastern England. A few mist or shallow fog patches developing towards dawn. Later in the night cloud will thicken over west Wales and the south-west with a few showers moving in.
