Tonight (Tuesday night): Much of Scotland will have a dull start to the night with outbreaks of heavy rain. Elsewhere, a few clear spells but rather dull with the chance of a few spots of drizzle. During the night the heavy rain will move south-east, reaching south-east England by morning. Behind this there will be clear spells but also some showers along western coasts, especially in Scotland where they may merge into spells of rain. Very windy at times.
